My First Post, or a Mix of Work-Related Thoughts

I just started this page. There are so many already on-line, but if everyone can do it, why can’t I? I am currently working on artwork, which will be on here soon. I want to have a showcase for my artwork, in case somehow someone sees it and it brings me fame and riches. I’ve been thinking I want to do something more meaningful than working at some boring job, so somebody else gets rich, or even well off. I’ve thought a lot about work lately, about the types of jobs people should do, because so much of it now is to manufacture products we don’t need. Because you are basically selling off part of your life and it should make a difference to you or somebody else.
I’ve been knitting a lot lately, and I like the idea of making something myself, that theoretically no one else is wearing. And even though I have to buy yarn, I’m still not buying into the fashion business. It’s really strange when you see a group of people are wearing basically the same clothes, especially when they are in different parts of the country. But I guess people have been doing that for a long time, it just seems worse when we have to see ads and everyone in the media constantly telling us what to buy.
